The world needs action, but our connection to nature has been lost.

What is Numanity?

Numanity is a free digital platform designed to help individuals rediscover their connection to nature and understand their role in building a sustainable world. Through gamified learning, expert-led content, and community engagement, Numanity transforms uncertainty into action, making environmental education accessible, engaging, and impactful for millions.

Rooted in Mitch Krause’s Master’s research in Environmental Management at Western Colorado University, Numanity integrates years of research, strategy, and innovation into a platform that brings environmental education into everyday life. Environmental experts serve as content creators, developing personalized and specialized lessons that guide users on a learning journey with real-world benefits—including education certificates, discounts on sustainable products, and redeemable points for exclusive content.

By combining education, incentives, and expert mentorship, Numanity empowers individuals to take meaningful action and embrace their role in shaping a more sustainable future.

Why Numanity Matters

Millions of people feel disconnected from nature and uncertain about their role in shaping a better future. Numanity bridges this gap by offering a personalized, interactive, and purpose-driven journey that helps individuals rediscover their connection to the natural world. Through direct mentorship and teaching from environmental experts across a wide variety of topics, users gain the knowledge, guidance, and inspiration needed to take meaningful action. By empowering people to see themselves as part of nature—not separate from it—we create a world where interdependence guides our choices, actions, and systems.

Our Environmental Experts

Here at Numanity we see our environmental experts as a powerful catalyst that brings actionable knowledge to the everyday individual. Educators deserve recognition for their profound but often underappreciated contributions to the betterment of humanity.

“How do we compensate our environmental experts?”

Our experts are fully funded through corporate partnerships and donations, allowing our educators to be paid adequately for their hard work. A partnership with Numanity means that companies are "Putting their money where their mouth is" by directly supporting impactful environmental education initiatives. In a world where our educators are under attack, the Numanity vision is more important than ever.
